Person-Centred Approach
Individualised therapy primarily using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems Parts Work (IFS), along with somatic practices, Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behaviour and Cognitive Dialectic Therapies (CBT and DBT).
Areas of Work
As a Clinical Psychologist, I help clients to understand the impact of events they have experienced and to overcome distress. This can include abuse, anxiety, bereavement, burnout, depression, eating difficulties, personality difficulties, sexual issues, stress, trauma, work problems, and many more.
Target Driven
Within my practice, clients create goals to ensure that their work is focussed, time-limited, and quantifiable. For example, 'to no longer feel scared or triggered in certain situations', or 'to move on from a certain time in my life'. This empowers people to track their progress and measure tangible results.
